Whitepaper v1.5: how token economy figures are maintained
The Stage 1 pilot figures (reward amounts by contribution, service catalog prices and capacity, quarterly distribution budget) are no longer fixed in the whitepaper text; they are now tables linked to settings the foundation maintains. The Token economy chapter and the token page show the same values, with their status (proposed or confirmed) and as-of date beneath each table.
What changes
When the figures are adjusted each quarter, these values are updated and the change is disclosed, instead of publishing a new whitepaper version. Prices are set in BHCT amounts and are not tied to a market price. Because rewards and prices use the same unit, rewards keep paying for services whichever way a price moves, and the foundation's cash exposure is fixed at the capacity it has secured.
Figures
The figures at this release are the same as in v1.4, with status proposed. They will be disclosed again once confirmed.
